Day 1

PARMA CITY

Discover the historic center of Parma in complete safety accompanied by your authorized guide.

Parma is the small city you don’t expect, full of surprises and curiosities.

Our tour starts from the heart of the city: Piazza Garibaldi, crossed by the Via Emilia and surrounded by palaces of different styles and ages.

The walk continues through the streets of the center to Piazza Duomo, where you will admire two true masterpieces of the Middle Ages of Parma: the magnificent Cathedral and the antelamic Baptistery.

It takes just a few steps to take a leap in time and get to the sixteenth century, when the Farnese built the Palazzo della Pilotta, a gigantic service palace that now houses museums and cultural institutions of great importance for Parma.

Our tour ends in front of the Teatro Regio, because the music here is still in the soul of the people, and because the building was commissioned by Maria Luigia, Duchess loved by Parmesans.

In front of the Teatro Regio stands the sinuous architecture of the Church of the Steccata, fabulous city temple that houses the remains of many of the Dukes of Parma and was frescoed by talented local painters, the most famous of which, Parmigianino, left here his last masterpiece.

Day 2

TORRECHIARA AND ITS GOOD AND MAGIC TERRITORY 

Discover the hills that surround the magnificent village of Torrechiara and its castle. An easy and pleasant path, within everyone’s reach, in the surprising nature of the Parma hills, and in the vineyards from which the Colli di Parma wines are born.

The excursion can also be done by e-bike (extra on request)

At the end of the hike: guided tour and tasting lunch of wines and local products at one of the panoramic cellars that rise near the castle.
