City of departure: Parma (PR) - 3 days

Day 1

  • Independent arrival in Parma, free lunch and check-in at the selected accomodation; 
  • In the afternoon: guided tour of the historic center of the city with a focus on both the main monuments and food and wine shops with the possibility of tasting and purchasing the products; 
  • Typical parmesan welcome dinner (within walking distance from the hotel). 

 

Day 2 

  • Visit of a Parmigiano-Reggiano producing cheese factory with tasting;
  • Break to go for a walk and take pictures of the village of Torrechiara dominated by its romantic castle, one of the most beautiful castles in northern Italy;
  • Visit of a producer of Parma ham; 
  • Visit and wine tasting/ lunch with typical products at a vineyard "Colli di Parma" that produces DOC wines; 
  • Afternoon free for independent visits or shopping, dinner and overnight stay. 
     

Day 3 

  • Guided visit of the ageing cellars of the Culatello; 
  • Followed by a cooking class with the award-winning staff on various types of typical pasta of the region with a final lunch with the prepared food as well as ham and salami from the business; 
  • Free afternoon. Suggestion: Visit of the places of Giuseppe Verdi and/ or shopping at the designer outlet center Fidenza Village.


Cancellation policy: 

  • No fee up to 16 days before the tour starting day; 
  • From 15 days to 7 days before the tour starting day: 20% penalty;
  • From 6 days to 3 days before the tour starting date: 40% penalty;
  • 48 hours' notice: 60% penalty;
  • 24 hours' notice: 100% penalty.
