Bologna (BO) - Full day
PROGRAM 
  • 08:30 am departure from Bologna towards the Province of Parma;


  • Meeting with our authorized guide and visit to an authentic cheese dairy of "Parmigiano-Reggiano" with final tasting;


  • Along the way to the hillside, pictures' stop at the medieval village of Torrechiara dominated by its romantic castle;


  • Visit to a plant where the worldwide famous "Prosciutto di Parma" ham is produced;


  • For lunch: rich tasting* of typical products with wine pairings in a fascinating cellar of DOC wines “Colli di Parma”;


  • After lunch, transfer to the Province of Reggio-Emilia or Modena to admire a real “Acetaia” with its barrels of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar. Tasting session at the end of the visit


  • End of the tour in the afternoon

 

 

*the tasting/lunch can be organized also directly at a Prosciutto di Parma producer, depending on availability.

  • Foreign language speaking guide (half day),
  • entry to a "Parmigiano-Reggiano" dairy with tasting,
  • entry to a "Prosciutto di Parma" producer,
  • "Colli di Parma" winery with tasting/lunch of typical products,
